Achieving a top environmental rating by combining corporate and product sustainability
We have been supporting Parador, a manufacturer of premium products for floor and wall design, very successfully since 2014 with our joint expertise in the areas of product and corporate sustainability.
Objective / Service applied
In the past, we have developed a sustainability strategy together with Parador, carried out materiality analyses and stakeholder surveys, drawn up product life cycle assessments (EPDs) and health product declarations, introduced an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and EMAS III, produced a sustainability report in accordance with the German Sustainability Code (DNK) and GRI, and carried out funding projects on the subject of resource efficiency and EcoDesign.
Solution / Project results
Through a multitude of activities in the ecological dimension of sustainability, Parador has succeeded in achieving a platinum rating in the environmental area in the internationally accredited sustainability rating EcoVadis. This puts Parador among the top 1% of companies in its sector.
